Hat tip kasterborous- Budding digital wizards can now create their own games based on their favourite show with the launch on the BBC website of the Doctor Who Game Maker. The site enables users to create and share their own games, either by starting from scratch or from a set of templates. Format choices include platform games and puzzles, and designers can choose which characters and enemies to include. An Arcade area allows users to share their work and lets other visitors try out the games.

This delightfully terrifying “Meeping Angel“ statue is the work of Salt Lake City-based artist https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=843521159046394&set=a.155033994561784.37752.100001655528856&type=1&theater" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Kerry Gisler. Inspired by a Photoshop illustration created last year by https://twitter.com/scottywrotem/status/427198547230859264" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">David Stokes, Gisler combined and then painted Beaker and Weeping Angel figures to create this geektastic Henson-Whovian nightmare.
